Eric Boyd Largent's Obituary
Eric Boyd Largent was born May 13, 1986 in Tulsa, OK to Elizabeth Emery Largent and Rickie Boyd Largent. He lived his entire life in Broken Arrow, OK and graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 2005. He attended OSU and earned a degree in Oil and Natural Gas Compression Mechanics in 2012. Eric loved playing his guitar. Music was his passion and he could play any song by ear. He also enjoyed golfing, concerts, and watching OU Sooners football and OKC Thunder. He was every ones go-to handyman and could build anything from a car engine to a Barbie house. Eric could light up the room with his laugh and loved joking around. We have always been a very close bunch and all lived within 5 miles of each other. We spent a lot of time together going on vacations, visiting amusement parks, sharing meals and just enjoying each other’s company. Eric spent time in Okemah with his father and brother riding dirt bikes, shooting skeet and enjoyed going to the lake boating and fishing into the wee hours of the morning. Even though Eric struggled with depression and addiction, he loved his family with all his heart and never hesitated to say “I love you”. Eric was an exceptional uncle and loved to make Kaitlynn laugh like no one else could. We have so many memories and inside jokes that we will carry in our hearts forever. Even though Eric was with us for only a short amount of time, we shared a lifetime of love, laughs, and fun times together.Eric is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Largent of Broken Arrow, OK, father, Rickie Largent of Okemah, OK, sister and brother- in-law Amy and Justin Orcutt, brother, Alex and niece Kaitlynn as well as his grandmother, aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins and friends.Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Floral Haven Rose Chapel in Broken Arrow with Pastor Matt VanderTol officiating.
