Angela Orpin
Scott, Thank you for your kind words. I believe he is still with us and will probably be laughing that silly ornery laugh when he catches one and ours slips off the hook. He is such a special soul and I miss him dearly.

Jacob, Thank you for sharing your memories of Erik. He truly enjoyed mentoring you all. He loved teaching people. I believe that his wisdom will never leave us and I catch myself asking "what would Erik tell me to do". I will do that for the rest of my life. There are times that I get answers to my questions and other times I don't. But that was Erik…he would let you try to figure out the problem before he would give you the answers at times.
Thank you Kelly. He was the Best of the Best! I miss him so much as well. It makes me smile when I see how he touched everyone's life. He is My Best Friend. His light is still among us.
Beth…Thank you for your kind words. It makes me proud of him all over again. Erik's wish would be for any donation to go to the Cerebral Palsy chapter in Tulsa.
I really enjoyed working with Erik at Samson. He always brought a smile and his dry sense of humor that he could fool me with. He always appeared cool and collected even on the worst projects. I remember how aggravated he could make me with all of his audit questions but he always challenged me and I always learned so much from him. I am thankful that I saw Erik at work a couple days prior to his passing. His smile and friendly greeting will forever be engrained in my memory. My thoughts and prayers are with the Orpin family. I would like to make a donation in Erik's memory if the family has preference on the charity please let me know. Beth Horst [email protected]
My heart goes out to Eriks family. I always enjoyed working with Erik at Samson. He could always make me smile on the worst of days. Truly a great loss and way too soon.
Oh my Love, my Best Friend, my Rock!! Taken from us way too soon! I miss you more than anyone cold ever imagine! I miss our morning talks, our goodnights…and our quick "I love you" texts during the day. My husband was the best man that I have ever known!! He loved his family and friends so much. Always willing to lend a helping hand, loved playing practical jokes, had a heart of gold and was a devoted husband and father!! We always knew he was there…and I believe always will be. He was larger than life and we love him SO much!! Thank you for all of your prayers. We need them desperately! May all of you find peace with your wonderful memories of such a great man. Gone but never forgotten…always in our hearts and soul. Until we meet again partner…Ride On my love! I love you so much!!!
Thank you Sean…that's exactly what Erik would have wanted. He was never one to want anyone to be anything but happy and to live life to its fullest.
