I am so sorry to see that Ernie passed away. Ernie had been part of our life since my son Jared was little and he & James became friends. I wish I would have known of his passing. We would have definitely come to the funeral.

Dad you will never know what you meant to me in this life. You did everything you could to give me the world and taught me to be a respectful and hardworking man. There isn’t enough words to describe all the great memories of hunting, fishing and playing golf together. Even when the world would turn me away you were always a phone call away and I could tell you anything. I’ll miss you more than ever dad I love you and I know your healthy and living it up with Jesus in heaven
I meet Ernie around 1979 in Arlington Texas. We both worked together for a local A/C company and lived together for several years. Ernie and I had so many adventures it would take me way to long to tell...you might ask me later. Every adventure with Ernie was always different and unexpected, some of them I don't know how we survived. Ernie and James would come down to Texas sometimes twice a year for the NASCAR races...that's another adventure. They would come down just to hang out and brought a couple of friends along, Ernie knew they were always welcome. If we were ever in a jam (which was many times) Ernie could always get us out of it. Ern I will miss ya brother, I do know that I will see you again.
Love in Christ,
Steven Berkley
