Ernestine Freitas' Obituary
Ernestine Freitas passed away on December 14, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ernestine was born on December 9, 1925 in Hollister, Missouri to Herman and Pearl Hofmeister. She attended Stephens College and University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri as well as Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield Missouri all to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She began teaching kindergarten students in Richmond California. She retired in 1983 after dedicating 32 years to students she had taught. She was married to Wendell Moulder until his passing in 1965 and she remarried to Leo Freitas in 1967. She lived a life totally centered around her relationship with Christ. She was adventurous, optimistic, energetic, outgoing, and friendly. She was a joy to be around. She is survived by her son, Steffan Moulder, daughter, Lesda McCready, step-sons, Donald and David Freitas, grandsons, Sean McCready, Braden McCready, Niles Lacey, and granddaughter, Athena Lacey.
