Esther Faye Wilson, age 94, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on April 16, 1932, in Rosseau, Ohio, to Delford Hamble and Jessie (Starrett) Gamble.
Esther devoted her life to her family as a loving homemaker. Throughout the years, she made many places home, living in Delaware, Washington, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Ohio. No matter where life took her, Esther’s warmth, kindness, and caring spirit created a home filled with love for her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her soulmate Bob Wilson, her beloved son, Tom Wilson; and her 13 brothers and sisters.
Esther is survived by her son, Bob Wilson and wife Cindy; daughter, Kay Johnson; and son, Ron Wilson and wife Cheryl. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Chris Wilson, Ashley Wilson, Jennifer Lindsay, Julie Rose, Jill Vega, Cameron Wilson, and Amanda Wilson, along with 11 great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy and pride.
Esther will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and friend. Her gentle heart, unwavering love for her family, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
