Ethel Louise Maynard's Obituary
Ethel Louise Maynard, 87 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in Broken Arrow. She was born July 21, 1933 in Cisne, Illinois to her parents, Henry Elsworth Murphy and Sarah Elizabeth Downer Murphy. She married the love of her life, Jack Maynard on September 17, 1953 in Geff, Illinois and they shared in over 67 beautiful years together before his passing in December of 2020.
Ethel is survived by her two children, David Maynard and his wife Elaine of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Lucinda Crain and her husband Matthew of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Charlene Naugher and her husband Dave of Madris, Oregon; four grandchildren, Sarah Mayfield, Rebecca Lynch, Kayla Chambers and Evan Maynard; six great-grandchildren, Jackson Lynch, Jasea Lynch, Theoden Goss, Jack L. Maynard, Caroline Maynard and Etta Chambers; and many friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Sarah Murphy; her husband Jack Maynard and one sister, Katie Hilliard.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Graveside services will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 29th at the Broken Arrow Church of Christ.
