Eugene "Frank" Franklin Harrison's Obituary
Eugene Franklin (Frank) Harrison Jr, 83, of Collinsville, OK passed away on October 13, 2019, in Tulsa, OK. Frank was surrounded by family at the time of his passing. Frank was born on August 3, 1936, in Tulsa, OK, to Eugene and June Harrison. After graduation from Will Rogers High School, in Tulsa, OK, Frank joined the Air Force. He served the full 20 years to be eligible for retirement. His rank at the time of retirement was Staff Sergeant. Frank was an aircraft mechanic and a trainer while in the Air Force. Frank is also a veteran of the Vietnam War. Frank was an extremely proud veteran who sported his Retired Air Force hat, everywhere he went. After retirement from the Air Force, Frank worked as a driver for the BNSF Railroad. Frank’s interests included dabbling with his computer, collecting coins and he was an amateur photographer. He especially liked taking photos of people who tried to avoid the camera. Frank is survived by his wife, Glenda Harrison, daughter, Tracy Harrison, stepsons, Mike Owens, Mark Owens and Matthew Owens, Daughter-in-law, Robin Owens, Grandsons, Malachi Owens and Isaiah Owens, Granddaughters, Stormy Owens, Tatum Owens, Journey Owens and Mya Rose Robinson and his two sisters, Judy Sides and her husabnd, John and Carol Turner and her husband, Frank. Frank is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Franklin Harrison Sr, mother, Margaret June (Phersdorph) Harrison, daughter, Margaret (Peggy) Harrison, son, Fred Harrison, daughter, Judy Harrison, and grandson, Michael Harrison. Funeral services for Frank will be held on October 23, at 12:30PM, at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, OK. Services will be conducted by Rev. Scott Palmer. Graveside services will include full military honors as Frank was a retired veteran of the US Air Force. Funeral arrangements are being conducted by Floral Haven Funeral Home.
