Eugene Walter Pfeiffer, Sr., 84, of Skiatook, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, July 5, 2020 in a Tulsa hospital. He was born July 4, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York to his parents, Eugene Henry Pfeiffer and Tosca Weber Pfeiffer. He married Loretta Jean Digney on November 10, 2013 in Skiatook, Oklahoma and they have shared in over 6 wonderful years together.
Eugene is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Pfeiffer of Skiatook, Oklahoma; two children, Brenda Hegney and her husband Bryan of Frisco, Texas and Randy Pfeiffer and his wife Lisa of Eastampton, New Jersey; three step-children, Laura Davis and her husband Matt of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mark Melton and his wife Debbie of Pensacola, Florida and Tommy Fairchild of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Devon, Mason, Bryan Jr., Brianna, Skylar, Gina and Kelsey; four step-grandchildren, Tim, Katie, Haley and Justin; and one niece, Claire Downing of North Bennington, Vermont. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Pfeiffer; his mother, Tosca Villanacci; his previous wife, Susana Pfeiffer; his son, Eugene "Gene" Walter Pfeiffer, Jr., and his brother, Frederick Pfeiffer.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
