Eugene "Bob" Stockton's Obituary
Bob Gene Stockton passed away quietly at home Thursday June 4, 2015. He was born in Spavinaw, OK Feb. 15, 1931.A loving father, husband, dedicated civil servant and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps where he held the rank of E-8 Master Sgt. He is a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. After retirement from the military he served another 20 years in the Naval Aviation Electronics Service Unit, stationed at the Oceana Navy Base located in Virginia Beach, VA.He was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Lona Stockton of Spavinaw, OK, his siblings: Marvin Stockton; Thelma Drake; Hazel Haskins; Lucille Stockton; Sherman Stockton and Wilbur Allen Stockton. He is also preceded by one daughter in-law, Felicia Cash.He is survived by his wife, Jane Marlene Stockton of Grove, OK, and five daughters: Pamela Ramos of Riverside, CA; Toni McGranaghan and her husband John of Amherst, NH; Christi Dewar of Virginia Beach, VA; Tracy Hudgins and her husband Jay of Gerrardstown, WV; Bobbie Stockton of Norfolk, VA; and several grandchildren to include: Robert Charles Hutchison, Jr and Charles Donald Dewar III both of Virginia Beach, VA; Alex Cash of Norfolk, VA; Raven Cash of Winter Springs, FL, and his sister-in-law Mozell Stockton.Mr. Stockton will be laid to rest at the Quantico National Cemetery located in Triangle, Virginia at a later date.Semper Fi, fair winds and following seas for your final deployment.
