Eugenio Bejarano Dominguez Sr's Obituary
In loving memory of Eugenio, a man whose heart overflowed with love for his family, his farm, and the simple pleasures of life. Eugenio’s journey was one of warmth, laughter, and cherished moments.
Eugenio Bejarano Sr. passed away May 03, 2024 at the age of 80. He was born November 8, 1943 to Jesus Maria Bejarano and Santos Dominguez de Bejarano in Ejido Vicente Guerrero, Mexico. He migrated to the USA with his family in 1991. He is survived by his wife Maria Bejarano; children, Anelida, Anselma, Sonia, Imelda, Raul, Alonso, Maria and Julio; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Eugenio’s devotion to his family knew no bounds. His eyes would light up when surrounded by loved ones, and his home was a haven for laughter, stories, and shared meals. Whether it was a lively cookout or a cozy family dinner, Eugenio relished these moments, savoring every bite and every smile.
Eugenio’s farm was his sanctuary—a place where he toiled under the sun, tending to the land and nurturing his animals. Among them, his pigs held a special place in his heart.
Eugenio’s adventurous spirit led him on journeys far and wide. But his heart always yearned for Mexico—the land of his roots. When he stepped onto Mexican soil, he felt a deep connection to the culture, the people, and the vibrant colors that surrounded him. Memories of childhood echoed through the streets, and he reveled in the flavors of authentic Mexican cuisine.
Chinese buffets and Golden Corral were Eugenio’s guilty pleasures. He’d pile his plate high with an assortment of dishes, savoring each bite as if it were a passport stamp from a distant land. But nothing compared to the joy of sharing a meal with family, especially when he got to cookout for them. The clinking of utensils, the laughter, and the love—it was a feast for his soul.
Eugenio’s grandchildren and great grandchildren knew him as “Papi Queno,” a term of endearment that transcended generations. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and even nephews, would rush into his arms, their eyes shining with adoration. To them, he was a pillar of wisdom, a storyteller, and a source of unconditional love.
As the sun sets on Eugenio’s earthly journey, we remember him not with tears, but with gratitude. Gratitude for the love he shared, the memories he etched into our hearts, and the legacy he leaves behind. May his spirit continue to roam freely, finding solace in the fields, the laughter, and the family gatherings he cherished so dearly.
Rest in peace, Eugenio. Your love lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know you.
