"Keep in touch." Growing up, I always thought it was fun and secretive that I could say that and touch the tip of my finger to hers. It's like a high five only with just one finger, one touch. Every single visit, Nana never failed to disappoint to say those three words whether it was on the phone, card, letter, when your walking out the door or when you already left and she lifts up the one finger. You knew what it meant. It is so special, unforgettable and loving all wrapped up in to one gesture. It's a special connection straight from her heart to yours reminding you never to forget and to 'keep in touch'. I love you Nana. We'll always keep in touch. Always and forever.
