Eunice Logsdon's Obituary
Eunice Marie Weeks was born July 22 1943 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Benjamin and Zelphia Weeks.Eunice grew up in Tulsa, and attended Central High School. The family were members of the Nazarene Church in North Tulsa. She enjoyed writing and rollerskating. She spent most of her free time working with the family business: Week’s Market.She was part of a large family, with four older brothers: Louis, Danny, David, and Curtis. She had an older sister Betty, and a younger sister Wanda. The whole family was involved with the business, which including farming, and delivering fresh fruits and vegetables.She married Charles Hiram Denton in 1961, and they had three children. They divorced in 1971, and she married William Harold Logson in 1972. They built a home in East Tulsa. Eunice and Harold’s dynamic life together was filled with love and fidelity that stood the test of time.Eunice was a spirited lady, and had a wonderful sense of humor and never shied from speaking her mind. She was a great example of gritty determination, and determination as well as the sense of humor were passed on to her children. She had many interests, such as stamp collecting, attending church, playing with her grandchildren, and decorating for holidays and special occasions. Eunice loved growing flowers, especially roses in the backyard. She enjoyed backyard bird watching as well. She is greatly missed.Survivors include: her husband Harold; her children, Kelli Meaney and husband Shawn, Chuck Denton and wife Karen, Tina Luper and husband Waylon; grandchildren, Chuck and wife Mallorie, Kemper, Becca, Bryer, and Zoë; and siblings Curtis Weeks and Wanda Davis,Great Grandson, Charles Alexander Gabriel Denton, as well as many nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Zelphia, brothers Louis, Danny, and Da-vid, sister Betty, first husband Charles Denton, and grandson Korey David King.Visitation will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home on Monday, 3/20, from 5 pm – 7pm. Chapel Services are on Tuesday, 3/21, at Floral Haven at 12:30 pm.
