Eva Christine Causey, 69, passed away on September 5, 2024, in a Tulsa hospital. Born on October 16, 1954, to Lee Roy Bice and Nevada Caroll McDonald, Eva lived a life full of love, joy, and dedication to her family and passions.
Eva married the love of her life, Matt Wayne Causey, on September 2, 1994, in Dumas, Texas. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with cherished memories. Eva's family will hold a celebration of her life at a later date to honor her memory.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Matt Causey, of the home; two loving daughters, Carrie Battle and husband Casey, and Danielle Combs and husband David; three siblings, Frankie Wehlmann and husband David, Lori White, and Roy Bice; six adoring grandchildren, Anthony, Tyler, K-Lora, Karsyn, Jagger, and Preslee; numerous great-grandchildren, friends, extended family, and her beloved fur baby, Indiana. Eva was preceded in death by her parents.
Eva had a deep love for reading and was known for her exceptional baking skills, especially her cookies. She had a special place in her heart for animals and enjoyed trips to Las Vegas. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Eva was an avid fan of murder mysteries and a fabulous cook who delighted in preparing meals for her family. She also had a profound appreciation for all kinds of music.
Eva Christine Causey will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
