Eva May Horn's Obituary
Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother Eva May Horn left this world on December 27, 2024. She was 94 years old and passed peacefully in Tulsa, Ok, and has gone on to join her Will Rogers High School sweetheart. She was a lifelong Tulsan.
She married George Horn Jr. on December 30, 1949, and had 5 wonderful daughters. As a dutiful housewife she stood beside him in his career with Allstate (34 years) and as a Square Dance Caller for Memorial Squares (27 years). They were married 6 weeks short of 45 years before he passed in November 1994. They were loved by the Square-Dancing world, their many friends and family.
After his passing she continued to be very active with “The Club” and the District. She also became active with the Widow Persons Society (WPS) group that gathered weekly for lunch and support, where she made many more friends and had many more adventures. She was loved by so many.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Martin (Pete), and Eva McAnally, Her husband George Horn, siblings, Fred and Marcia McAnally, Betty and Bob Mead, Mary Stover, and Carol Ann and Earl
Bowlin. Daughter Eva Theresa Schulz, Son in Law Johnny Michael Blevins, Grand Children Rebecca Lynn Blevins, Susan Powell, George Schulz. Great grandchildren Haily Grace and Emilyn Elizabeth Schulz and Step grandson Brandon Blevins, and three nieces and one nephew.
She is survived by her children Glenn Schulz (SIL), Mary Ann Ray, Cecelia Blevins, Julia and Bud Fisher, and Georgette Horn. Grand Children Charles and Stacy Schulz, Rob Ray, Jesse Ray, Justin and Tiffany Blevins, Kimberly Arnold, Brian Blevins, Tasha Wilson, Trisha and Russell Dunlap, Lenard Eastom, Tiffany and Jason Stonebarger, and Eva and Gimo Grace. Great Grand Children Kala and Tim Frisbie, Trenton Pickett, Dixie and Cole Steward, Elim Schulz, Isla Schulz, Naiyah Schulz, Jacob Schulz, Hunter Schulz, Robbie Ray, Keifer Ray, Joshua Blevins, Mike Arnold, Stewart Arnold, Jaxon Wilson, Diana Wilson, Cameron Bass, Corbin Gayle, Cid Grace and Eva Grace. Great Great Grandchildren Bryce, Stephanie, Ceslee, and Bently Frisbie. Many nieces and nephews
To say she loved many goes without saying. To say she was loved by many and will be missed by a multitude of family and friends is an understatement.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 1:00 PM till 5:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Those wishing to send flowers for the service may do so by contacting Floral Designs by Floral Haven at (918) 459-1525. Independent florists are kindly asked to deliver flowers directly to Floral Haven Funeral Home by 12:00 PM on Sunday, January 5, 2025, to ensure proper display for Eva's visitation. Eva's celebration of life service will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
