Evaleah Marie Jahns' Obituary
Evaleah Marie Jahns, a resident of Tulsa, passed away June 13, 2018 at the age of 88. She was born July 14, 1929 to Nathan and Eva Marie (Gaines) Stratman in Arab, Missouri and later adopted by Charles Wynne. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, various board games, gardening, bird watching, knitting and cooking. She watched Jeopardy on TV everyday and took trips to local natural feature called Spring Creek. Her great achievement was becoming a Registered Nurse and retired after 35 years of service at St. John Medical Center. She raised 5 beloved children and 2 wonderful grandchildren. Evaleah truly loved learning and also teaching her family about nature, art, music, science, reading and nurturing the love of family. She had such a compassionate soul that all of us living family members and friends will dearly miss until the day we all meet again. We love you, Mom and Thank you for sacrificing so much for all of us!She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Jahns; brother, Charles Wynne; mother, Marie Wynne-Snider; adoptive father, Charles I. Wynne; birth father, Nathan Stratman and one grandchild.Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Mincolla; son, Stephen Jahns and wife, Nina; daughter, Barbara Milligan; daughter, Terri Redline and husband, Hal; daughter, Mary E. Thompson and husband, Trent; brother, Jack Wynne and wife, Donna; sister-in-law, Sandy Wynne; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and extended family member.No Services are planned at this time.
