Evelyn Youngblood, 103, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died on December 8, 2016.She was born on June 8, 1913, in Mayes County, Oklahoma (outside of Pryor, Oklahoma), the daughter of Isaac Jackson and Mary Elizabeth (Oxford) Standlee. In July 1939, she married Paul Youngblood, the love of her life, in Arkansas.She will be remembered by her family for her deep love, and devotion to them, her quick wit, and her love for jewelry, and leather handbags.Evelyn is survived by her four children; Evelyn Elliott, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Joe Elliott, and his wife, Ramona, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Dave Youngblood, and his wife, Pat, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Mary Holeman, and her husband, Wayne, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, daughter in law, Luzdivina Youngblood, of Phoenix, Arizona, six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren, extended family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, John Youngblood. Memorial donations may be made in Evelyn’s name to the charity of your choice.
