Evie Lee Boatman, 75, homemaker passed away February 8, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. She was born October 20, 1941 in San Angelo, TX to Arthur Earnest and Annie Ophelia (Patterson) Cowley.Evie is survived by her husband of 50 years, James L. “Jim” Boatman; children, Jeff Boatman and his wife Angie, Melba Gilkey and her husband Terry; grandchildren, Keli Boatman, Josh Boatman, and Melissa Gilkey; sister, Katie Briscoe; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions maybe made to the Abby Jones Memorial Fund at the Bank of Oklahoma.Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, February 10th, Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow.Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 11th, Southwood Baptist Church, Tulsa.
