Faye Florene Davis' Obituary
Faye Florene Davis, 94, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in Tulsa, OK, after a brief illness. Faye was born February 8, 1917 in Goltry, OK to Albert and Emogene (Thornburgh) Lingo. Faye and Glenn Davis were married August 1939. Faye moved to Tulsa in 1985 after retiring from teaching in Enid, OK. Faye was active at Garnett Church of Christ and in her community. She was an avid reader, gardener, clipper of recipes, master of dominoes, and did the crossword in ink! Faye was known as 'Mom' or 'Grammy' to many. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, grandson Keith, son-in-law Mike Marshall, and brother Clarence Lingo of Lahoma. Survived by: son Scott Davis of Oklahoma City and his wife Carol, son Mike Davis of Catoosa and his wife Linda, daughter Jane Dombrowski and her husband Mike of Fairfax, VA. Grandchildren: Glenn & Desty, Ann, Mollie & Steve, Nathan & Joan, and Hannah. Great grandchildren: Ian, Leah, Alec, and Natalie. Faye is also survived by sister Letha Bryant of Tulsa and brother Bob Lingo of El Reno, OK.
