Fleeta Louellen King's Obituary
Fleeta Louellen King, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend; born Wednesday, January 9, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to her loving parents, Basil Edgar & Evelyn Jewell (Bradley) Beach; went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 2, 2016 in Jenks, Oklahoma with her loving family by her side. Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Fleeta was very blessed at an early age, she found her soul mate early in life. On Tuesday, October 8, 1963 she married the love of her life and they started their lives together as husband and wife, settling in their home town of Tulsa, Oklahoma and raising their loving family. Fleeta went to work for St. Francis Hospital as an instrument technician for the surgical department for over twenty-seven years before she retired. In her free time she enjoyed many things such as cooking and baking, bird watching, antiquing and gardening so much so she joined the Gardening Club of Bristow. What she was truly passionate about was her family that she loved so dearly; fond memories will always be cherished of Fleeta. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be deeply missed by all those who had their lives touched by her. Fleeta is preceded in death by her loving parents, Basil Edgar & Evelyn Jewell (Bradley) Beach and her dearly loved sister, Jewell Mitchell. Fleeta is survived by her beloved husband of fifty-three years, Charles King; her two loving daughters, Kathryn King and Cheryl King; her two precious grandchildren, Alicia Marie Tiller & husband Barry and Erick LeRoy Allen; her dearly loved brother, Basil Edgar Beach II, sister, Nova Lea Nolan, and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, loving family members and friends. Services have been entrusted to Floral Haven Funeral Home, Floral Shop, Crematory & Memorial Gardens, 6500 S. 129th E. Avenue; Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society in Fleeta’s name.
