Flora Alice Lutz's Obituary
Flora Alice Lutz passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at home. She was born October 20, 1931 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Lorenza Raymond Johnston and Rosie Katheryn Walker Johnston. She graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1949. Alice married Marvin E. “Corky” Lutz on November 24, 1953. While raising her two boys she worked as an executive secretary for a local oil company until she retired in 1989. She was an active member of the Desk and Derrick club and the Greater Tulsa Depression Era Glass Club where she held various offices over the years. She enjoyed collecting depression glass and spending time with family and friends. Alice was proceeded in death by her parents Lorenza and Rosie Johnston of Sapulpa, a brother JR Johnston of Broken Arrow and her husband Marvin “Corky” Lutz of the home. She is survived by son, Ray Lutz and wife Melanie of Tulsa, OK, son, Jim Lutz of Tulsa, OK, grandson Daniel Lutz and wife Quinn of Broken Arrow, OK, grandson David Lutz of Stillwater, OK, great-grandson, Caden Lutz of Broken Arrow, OK and a host of family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, November 6th at The View Acres Baptist Church where she has attended for a number of years.
