Mimi, as what we called her, was a grandma with lots of personality and very free spirited. I spent a lot of time with her as a kid, and picked me up from school and hung out with her the whole afternoon amd evening until mom got off work, and then we would usually all eat dinner together.Mimi was a very talented artist who taught us how to paint and draw, and her home was filled with tons of art work that made her home "cozy".She was also a lady who had a major interest in rocks, gems, and what not. And there was always something interesting to ponder upon or look at her home. She collected interesting things. Never boring over there.But, besides all that, Mimi will be missed. She was a caring grandma, and would help you out anytime if she could. She is gone, but not forgotten.
Mimi, my great-grandma, introduced me to the love and passion for rocks. When I was little I'd go and look at all the hundreds and hundreds of geodes she owned. She gave me some rocks to start my own collection. She let me look at all her rocks anytime I'd like, and slowly gave me my own rocks till I had a nice collection
