Jean was a wonderful woman with a big smile and a big heart. She loved God, her family, her flowers, and her many friends of the human and animal species. She was a hard worker who was always willing to assist others – even if that meant getting full of dirt and sweat.If you needed help with yardwork, leaves, your garden, shopping , holiday meals, or babysitting – you could always count on Jean. And, 6 decades ago ( long before the plethora of home fixer-upper and rehab shows on TV ) Jean and husband Roy did it on 3rd Street.There was nothing pretentious or fake about her. She was sincerely interested in the spiritual and social development of her offspring and friends. She attracted people from all stations in life because they recognized her IMAGO DEI persona. And that, I believe, is her temporal and eternal legacy. God bless us all. Mike.
