We are sorry to hear the passing of Ray. We knew Ray also when he was an Elder when it was Eastside Church of Christ. Then continuing on to Crosstown,we then moved to Arkanas. He will be with all of the Saints of Christ . . With love Vic & Margaret Hanzark.
Ray was part of a long list of great and good men who blessed my lif e. LaFerne and I will treasure every memory of good times we had with Ray and Bunny. They thoughtfully and repeatedly encouraged us in our ministry. I'm sure their good deeds are legion. Our thoughts are with you as you celebrate his life and homegoing.
Della and I went to see Ray and Bunny and Ray had to show us a turtle that someone had left on their patio….needless to say "Timmy" was in much need of a paint job so I had him put him in a bag for me to take so that Allison and Haley my granddaughters could fix it right up….when we took the turtle back, he never had to stay on the patio again….Ray and Bunny loved the turtle "almost" as much as they did Allison and Haley….
Ray was a dear friend and Brother in the Lord. The Fruit of God's Holy Spirit was always evident in his daily life. I learned much from him thru' the years and it was an honor and privilege to serve with him at Crosstown. I will miss him! Jerry Buchanan
