Forrestine May Winslow's Obituary
Forrestine May Winslow joyfully entered the gates of heaven on Monday, January 4, 2021. She entered this life on Friday, June 7, 1935 in Bartlesville, OK. The second child to Forrest and Bertha Decou. She met the love of her life at age 17 and became the bride of Thomas A Winslow on January 22, 1952 at the Church of the Open Bible in Parsons Kansas. They were faithfully married until Tom’s passing on February 23, 2007. She never loved another and always spoke of the day they would meet again.
Forrestine had three children, Rebecca, Joyce and Mark. Joyce procced her to heaven on August 14, 2018. Thomas and Forrestine owned Flower Creations in Tulsa, OK from 1985 to 2007. They coordinated thousands of weddings in Tulsa over those years.
Forrestine brighten everyone’s day with her smile and beautiful, soft spirit of love towards all. All of the Bibles she owned were full of underlined, highlighted scriptures. She strongly believed in telling everyone about Jesus and accepting Him into their hearts. One of her favorite verses was John 3:16. A common theme of comments about Forrestine was what an incredible, beautiful, loving person. Always a strong, positive, loving soul helping others.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 7 from 3-6pm at Floral Haven. A memorial service will be held at 10am on Friday, January 8, at Floral Haven, followed by a grave-side service.
