Frances Ann Poole's Obituary
Frances Ann Poole, a resident of Bixby, passed away June 27, 2017 at the age of 80. She was born March 18, 1937 to Edward Gates and Lillian (Plagens) Gates in Bangor, Wisconsin. She graduated from Bangor High School. On November 1, 1957, she married Thomas Poole in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Her career was a military spouse and homemaker. She lived majority of her life in Altus and Shawnee and moved to Tulsa 10 years ago. She enjoyed gardening, walking, and but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Poole; parents, Edward and Lillian Gates.Survivors include her two sons, Troy Poole and wife, Janet of Ada and Tracy Poole and wife, Jennifer of Bixby; grandchildren, Erin Ritter of Allen, Ryan Poole of Ada, Raegan Poole of Bixby, Ryan Kowey of Ada, Randi Payne of Ada and Rance Kowey of Ada.Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2017 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Perry Cox officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org
