Frances Lorene Blackburn's Obituary
Frances Lorene Blackburn was born December 18, 1921 in Foyil, Oklahoma, the daughter of Henry Clyde & Cora America Crawford. She was the 7th of 9 children raised on a farm with many chores, after attending Foyil Schools Lorene moved to Tulsa and worked for Zero Bomb and Douglas during the war and years later at Zebco. Lorene loved to fish, garden, sew and do crafts. Upon her marriage to Phillip in 1966 she moved to Langley, Oklahoma and established a home on Grand Lake. She and Phil enjoyed many years of gardening, and all of her hobbies until his death in 2001. Lorene passed away in her sleep on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at the home of her son, Wayne. She is preceded in death by four brothers; Orbin, Junior, Raymond and Richard and two sisters Virginia and Mildred. Surviving are her two brothers Kenneth and Ernie; Children Gene Wright and wife Connie, Wayne Wright and wife Pat, Ellen and husband Gene Redford and Jimmy R. Wright. She has 7 granchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Lorene loved her children and was very active in her grandchildrens lives. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held on Thurday, May 26, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
