Frances Elizabeth Boone's Obituary
Frances “Beth” Boone, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on December 17, 1949, in Brinkley, Arkansas, to Buck and Frances Carr. Beth was a woman of unwavering faith, known for her tenacity, formidable spirit, and constant support for the underdog.
Beth’s heart was as big as her love for her family. Her love of life extended to many passions, with Dodger baseball being a favorite pastime, where her love for the game was matched only by her fierce devotion to those she cared for.
Known to many as the “Cookie Lady,” Beth had a special gift for cooking, with her famous yeast rolls being a staple at many family gatherings. Her warm, generous spirit and love for sharing with others made her a trusted friend and a beloved figure to those fortunate enough to know her.
Beth’s natural ability to comfort extended beyond the kitchen, as she became known as the “Baby Whisperer” In the NICU at the hospital, where her soothing presence calmed crying infants, providing peace to parents in the most anxious moments. She worked as a HH/Hospice nurse before becoming a massage therapist for several years, she helped ease the pain and stress of countless people.
A lover of nature, Beth had a passion for plants, cultivating beauty wherever she went. She also enjoyed playing the violin and singing, which was yet another way for her to connect with her soul and share her love of music.
Beth is preceded in death by her husband and soul mate Ronald “Ron” Boone, parents, son Paul Clagg and brother Norm
Beth is survived by her son Jonathan Clagg and wife Tina, daughter Angella Clagg and fiancé Mike, daughter Mary Clark and husband Reggie, son Benjamin Clagg, sister Patty, brother Jim, brother Joe and wife Cathy, sister Ruth and husband Phillip aka Plip-Flop, (10) grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends, and loved ones
Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Catoosa Hills Christian Church
