Frances "June" Doll's Obituary
Frances “June” Doll, 87 of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born June 17, 1933 in Ochelata, Oklahoma to her parents, Venice and Augusta Tilley. She graduated from East Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma and then married the love of her life, Kenneth Doll and March 20, 1954 and they were happily married for 34 years before his life was taken, way to early with cancer in 1988.
June worked for Zebco for 20 years and then after retirement she volunteered at Cooper Elementary School, helping children with reading. One of her favorite hobbies was reading.
June spent time delivering Meals on Wheels and she loved spending time with family and friends.
She was a sweet, wonderful and strong woman who was loved by many. She always had a positive outlook on things. She enjoyed listening to classic country and gospel music and attending the Friday night opry show.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her sister, Clara Mae and husband N. C. Harper; brothers, Kenneth Tilley, Leonard Tilley and wife Genie; brothers-in-law, Wayne and Orville Doll; and sister-in-law, Katherine Doll.
June is survived by two daughters, Janice Sisemore and husband Rickie of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Shelia Raines and husband Jerry of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Matt Raines and wife Bobbie of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Colby Raines and wife Brandi of Yale, Oklahoma, Melissa Wolschke and husband Kai of Liberty, South Carolina; 10 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Norbert Doll of Glencoe, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Myra Doll of Tulsa, Oklahoma and beloved nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members.
Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Floral Haven’s Rose Chapel.
