Frances Marie Tallman's Obituary
Frances Marie Tallman, “Auntie Fran”, passed away November 28th at the age of 93 years and 4 months in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the youngest of four children and was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mabel Tallman, brothers Bob Tallman, Bill Tallman, and sister Joanne Archibald.
Survivors include nephew/nieces, Skip Tallman/Kathy Smith, Frances/Roland Megna, Bob/Lynn Archibald, Bill/Carol Archibald, Phil/Sharon Tallman, and Craig/Beth Shiever.
Great nephew/nieces, Kristin/Doug Lane, Jeff/Kerri Tallman, Geoff/Regina Allen, Scott Tallman, Skye Archibald/ Will Liedtke, Megan/Taylor Griggs, Matt/Emily Archibald, Mark/Audrey Archibald, Lane/Audra Olson, Ryan/Katie Hoyt, Philip/Mallory Tallman, Joshua Tallman, and Amy Tallman. Along with fourteen great, great-nieces, and nephews.
After graduating from high school in Lancaster, Missouri she worked in Jefferson City, MO, and Quincy, IL before relocating to Tulsa to be closer to family. In Tulsa, she worked for Gulf Oil Company, transferring to Dallas, TX, in 1976 and retiring from the company in 1983.
She loved watching college and pro basketball and football games, and her favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling, gathering with family and friends, being active in PEO and Green Country Women’s club, and always enjoyed playing bridge.
