Francis James Cashel's Obituary
Francis James, Cashel was born on March 13, 1943. He was known to all his friends and family as Frank. He was 79 years of age when he left this world on January 25, 2023.
Frank was a loving husband to his wife Joan. He was a wonderful father to his son Darren and daughter Tracy. Frank loved his four grandchildren who are Ashley, Adam, Megan and Lauren. They will miss their Pop Pop forever. He was a veteran who served in the United States Air Force. Frank worked for Union Carbide in chemical sales after his service to our country. He loved to play golf and did so in his working years and into retirement. He also enjoyed snow skiing and did so on a regular basis. On many occasions he would take the entire family on ski trips.
Frank will be missed. He was known for always putting his family before himself. He was a man of few words, but when he spoke it was worth listening to. It was just hours before Frank passed away that he made sure he told everyone he love them.
He always put everyone else before himself even in his last hours. At the request of his wife, this service will be for family only. Frank will be dearly missed.
