Frank Warren Dyer Jr's Obituary
DYER-Frank Warren, 79, passed away Monday, December 13, 2004 at the Claremore Veteran’s Hospital. Born June 13, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan, to Frank and Cora Dyer. He married Martha Lee (Rogers) on December 23, 1950 and shortly thereafter they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. He began work for McDonnell Douglas in 1951 and retired after 41 years in 1992. He was a longtime resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and a lifetime member of the Broken Arrow VFW. His hobbies and interests included bowling, playing cards and dominoes with friends, fishing, his pet cats and dogs, the outdoors and tinkering around the home. He is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Martha Lee (Rogers) of the home, son Curtis and hs wife Claudia and grandson Scott all of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, December 16, 2004, under the direction of Floral Haven Funeral Home. Interment will be 1 P.M., Friday, December 17, 2004, at Mt. Rose Memorial Gardens in Lebanon, Missouri. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in Frank’s memory.Survived By: his wife, of 53 years: Martha Lee (Rogers), of the home; son: Curtis and his wife, Claudia and grandson: all of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
