Frank Summers' Obituary
Franklin I. Summers crossed the finish line on June 4, 2016 after a full and adventurous life. Born October 26, 1926 in Battrum, Saskatchewan to Ira M. Summers and Minerva (Koehler) Summers. On June 16, 1951, he married Maxine Gallupe. She preceded him death in March 1998. Frank is survived by his loving companion of 17 years, Mary Lee Forst; daughter, Cheryl Summers Moseley and husband, Ron; sons, Jeffrey Summers and wife, Julie and Steve Summers and wife, Laura, as well as his extended family. His legacy lives on through numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His life experiences were testimony to his charismatic character. Frank came to the United States in 1952 after joining Rotary Exploration. Travels across the western United States while oil drilling resulted in countless memories. His family settled in Tulsa, Ok in 1962, where he later joined Braden Wench in Broken Arrow and successfully retired. The family expresses their sincere gratitude for the compassionate and comforting care of the Saint Francis Intensive Care Unit and staff. The transition was a peaceful journey. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. at the Bellissima Ranch 4833 W. 88st N, Sperry, OK 74073.
