Throughout her life, she exemplified the beauty of spreading kindness and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched.
Joy's love for the land was evident in her deep connection to her beloved farm. The open fields, rolling hills, and the tranquility of nature brought her immeasurable joy. She found solace and purpose tending to her land, cultivating its beauty and sharing its bounty with those she held dear.
A devoted grandmother, Joy's heart expanded with immeasurable love whenever she was in the presence of her grandchildren. Her eyes would light up as she watched them play, cherishing each moment spent together. Their laughter echoed in her heart, forever ingrained as a testament to the unbreakable bond they shared.

She is survived by her husband Ralph Whitten of Oklahoma; son Michael, and wife Roberta, Smith of Washington; sisters Nancy and Sandra of California; brothers Joe and Johnnie of Oklahoma; grandchildren Brennon, and wife Brandi, Smith of Oklahoma; Shayla, Shawn, Morris of Oklahoma, and Asaely Saldivar of Oklahoma; Paul Smith of Washington; Great grandkids Eli Morris, Saphira Morris, Leon Smith, Aurora Smith, and Kaylan Dean; along with a host of other family and friends that will forever miss and love her.
She is reunited with her granddaughter Lilly Smith.
