Freda Louise Riley's Obituary
Freda Louise Riley, 90, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2014 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She was born on July 28, 1924 to Carl and Della (Harper) Snyder in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 50 years, Theodore Donald Riley, in 1996, and her two sisters, Jeri Martindale and Leveda “Tincy” Sage. Her two sons, Donald Michael Riley (wife Judy) and Larry Dean Riley (wife Anna-Doretta) survive her as well as three much loved grandchildren, Michelle (husband Eric) Maggio, Jason Riley, and Megan (husband Peter) Chrissotimos, and one great-grandson, Tyler Maggio. Freda also leaves behind her brother, James Snyder (wife Lunda), and sister, Nadine Crow (husband Harold), plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom she adored. She will be remembered for her love of family, caring about others, and her strong faith in the Lord. The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the Grace Hospice staff, especially Steve and Danya, who took such good care of her these past several months.Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7th, Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow.Funeral Service will be at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 8th, in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, with the committal service to follow in Floral Haven Gardens, Broken Arrow. A reception will follow in the Floral Haven Family Center.
