Freddie Mae Dillard, aged 89, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, her lifelong home. She was born on June 29, 1934, to her parents, James B. Patrick and Naomi Miller Patrick. On July 22, 1956, she entered into matrimony with the love of her life, Herman A. Dillard, with whom she shared more than 30 splendid years until his departure in July 1986.
Freddie pursued her passion by attending cosmetology school, where she earned her cosmetology license, dedicating herself to the field for numerous years. Her green thumb was evident in her love for gardening, a source of both relaxation and fulfillment.
A devout worshiper, Freddie found solace and community through regular attendance at church and its various functions. However, one of her defining traits was her skill in crafting homemade pies, renowned for their delectable taste. These pies became a centerpiece of various pie auctions, fetching impressive prices due to their quality and her dedication.
