Freeman K Epps' Obituary
Freeman Kenneth Epps of Pryor went to be with the Lord, Oct 8, 2011 at the age of 91. Freeman was born May 21, 1920 in Noble, MO to Lenox and Annie Epps. He married his beautiful girl Pauline Naugle in Springfield, MO. They began their 69 year journey together on Oct 9, 1942. Freeman served for five years in the US Coast Guard during World War II. After leaving the service Freeman worked at Sun Oil Company in Tulsa for 34 years. They owned the Epps' Bargain House in Locust Grove for six years. Freeman enjoyed attending auctions, mowing the yard, fixing up bikes and looking out over the lake. He is survived by his wife Pauline Epps, children Dewey and Carol Epps, Chouteau; Karen and David Harper, Tulsa; Ron and Denise Epps, Broken Arrow; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Kenneth Epps and infant daughter Brenda Epps. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9am ' 9pm at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow. Services will be held Wednesday 10am at the Floral Haven Chapel in Broken Arrow. Grandpa you are finally home!
