Gale Blosch's Obituary
Vivian Gale Webb was born to Dewey and Hattie Webb on December 23, 1936, in Caney, Oklahoma, and passed away October 29, 2024, in Tulsa, OK. She graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa and married her high school sweetheart, Louis Blosch, with whom she shared her life for nearly seventy years. Louis and Gale were blessed with three daughters.
Gale devoted herself to raising their daughters. She loved to sew for her girls and spent many a late Christmas Eve finishing clothes for their Barbie Dolls. She sewed Easter outfits, school clothes, cheerleading uniforms, and prom dresses. Gale loved music and enjoyed playing the piano. She instilled that same love in her girls.
Gale’s grandchildren and great grandchildren brought tremendous joy to her life. Time spent with Grandma was a premium to the kids.
Gale had a heart for children, investing in their eternity through her love and dedication. As an incredible Bible story teller, she told children of God’s love and taught them how to use their Bibles. She also volunteered for forty years alongside Louis in the kitchen at Faith Week, Eastwood Baptist Church’s annual youth camp.
Gale’s generous heart guided her to meet the needs of those around her, and she and Louis supported several organizations who aid children. She looked forward to hosting family meals and celebrations at which her lasagna was especially famous. She loved to water ski, snow ski, and travel. In fact, Gale was contemplating a trip to visit great grandsons in Europe just days before she passed.
Gale is survived by three daughters, Susan Chrisman and husband Jerry of Piedmont, OK, Kathi Lewis of Broken Arrow, OK, Jeannette Amon of Siloam Springs, AR; nine grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren; her sister, Ann Tatum of Tulsa, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her friends and family loved her dearly, and she will be greatly miss
Celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Eastwood Baptist Church (948 S 91st E Ave, Tulsa, OK 74112)
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Louis and Gale to be given to Samaritan’s Purse.
