Gary Leon Blocker's Obituary
Gary Leon Blocker, 85 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in a Tulsa hospital. He was born February 17, 1935 in Marysville, Kansas to his parents, Oscar H. Blocker and Vida M. Barlow Blocker. He married the love of his life, Dora Hill on September 6, 1958 and they shared in over 60 wonderful years together before her passing in 2018.
Gary is survived by his two children, Greg Blocker of Edmond, Oklahoma and Dorinda Carver and her husband Kent of Skiatook, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Courtney Grove of Skiatook, Oklahoma and Zachary Thomas Blocker and his wife Paytyn of Edmond, Oklahoma; four great-grandchildren, Deanna Grove, Titus Alexander Raftery-Blocker, Caydence Brock and Ryhott Thomas Blocker; a sister, Phyllis Libby of Marysville, Kansas; and many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dora Blocker.
Graveside memorial services will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021 at St. Gregory's Catholic Cemetery in Marysville, Kansas.
