Jerry Brock
My earliest memory of Gary is 3rd grade. We would walk home from school together but not before we stopped at the little store across from Robertson. We'd get a bottle of pop and a can of shoestring potatoes for the walk home. We played a ton of baseball, football, basketball, I never saw Gary dunk, but we had alot of fun. He was a great friend for many years. When I first bought a house he was my roomy until he married. I remember a green car he had and the hood on it was longer than most cars today. We were great friends along with Phil, Charlie and Joe. We would run the restless ribbon (peoria) way more often than we should. As we grew older we didn't see alot of each other but the memories I have I'll always cherish. To his daughters and his grandkids, I want you to know Gary was a stand up guy and a he'll be truely missed by his old Westside friends.
