Gary Mitchell Davis' Obituary
Gary Mitchell Davis was called home on Friday, October 11, 2013 at the age of 70. He was born in Nuyaka OK. He graduated from Nuyaka High School in 1961, served in the Navy from 1964 to 1968, then went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. He opened his own CPA practice in Tulsa in 1984. Gary had a genuine compassion for those he served for over 30 years, considering everyone a friend, not a client. Gary was an avid reader, enjoyed golf, gardening, watching tennis, traveling, antiquing, and loved annual trips with Twyla to the beach in Destin FL. He was predeceased by his parents, Preston and Dollie Davis, brothers, Tom, Bill, Clovis, Jim, and sisters, Shirley and Tijuana. Gary is survived by his wife Twyla (Tulsa) whom he fondly referred to as his “million dollar dream”, sons Jeff (Angie) Davis of Felton DE, Randy Davis of Sterling AK, granddaughters, Alexandria and Steffanie Davis. The funeral service will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home, 6500 S. 129th E. Ave, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on October 16, 2013 at 12:30 pm. Interment to follow. Memorial donations may be made to your charity of choice.
