Gary Alan Ingram's Obituary
Gary Ingram, 57, of Sperry, Oklahoma passed peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2013 with a loving family by his side. At the age of 18, he entered into the army and went on to serve our country for two years. He then came back to Oklahoma and settled in a civilian lifestyle. He met the love of his life, Connie Barber, in December 1979, and they were married August 9, 1980. Gary worked for Interstate Electric for 30 years where he made lasting friendships. Gary was a stubborn man and battled liver cancer for six long years. He was an amazing Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with the Love of his life and family. He loved relaxing on his front porch and being outdoors. He also loved his five dogs, Peppy being his favorite. He will be greatly missed by many. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Connie Ingram, two daughters, Angela Barnes and Dede Duncan; five grandchildren, Derek Barnes, Matthew Barnes, Devin Duncan, Kyle Barnes, Tayler Duncan; four great-grandchildren; Braden Duncan, Keylan Barnes, Carter Barnes, and Kaizlee Barnes. If there was ever an example of unconditional love and affection, this couple was it. They are truly an inspiration to those of us who know Gary and Connie.“I have been with God” “I have been with the Devil” “I seized THE hand of GOD”
