Gene Earl Peters' Obituary
Gene Earl Peters, 86 of Rogers died Wednesday, June 12 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers.He was born on June 17, 1937 in Jenks Okla. to Marie and Earl Peters. He is preceded in death by his parents, his step dad, Warner Ketcher, a brother Don Flores and his nephews Devin and Louis Flores.
He enjoyed metal detecting, fishing and watching old shows and old movies. He loved his old farts breakfast and eating at his favorite restaurant, Cracker Barrel. He especially loved spending time with family and friends. He was in the Navy for 20 years and lived in many different places. He also worked at Nelson Electric in Tulsa for many years.
Survivors are 4 daughters, Jeanie Marlow(Mike) of Pea Ridge, Ark., Judy Patterson(Glenn) of Centerton, Ark., Joni Peters(Angie) of Bella Vista, Ark., and Darla Thompson(Donny) of Hinton Okla. He has 11
grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and his nephews Don and Charlie Flores and their families.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00, Friday, June 21, 2024 at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Okla. A service will be held at 12:30, Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Okla. He will be buried with full Military Honors at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, in Veterans Field of Honor Phase II.
