Genoa Ford's Obituary
Genoa V. Ford, 97, peacefully passed away Tuesday, Feb 28 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in WI. Genoa was born on Nov. 20, 1914 in Tulsa , OK after her folks came up from Texas in a covered wagon. Genoa graduated from Central High School in 1932. She married Charles T. Ford on June 27, 1936. Charles was employed by the post office and retired in 1976 as supervisor of carriers. Genoa was a homemaker and gifted crafter. After Charles retired they traveled the world over. Charles died in 1983, but Genoa continued to travel seeing the world and grandchildren. She is survived by her son and wife, Charles and Pat Ford of IL, her daughter and her husband Barbara and Ron Behnke of WI, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 5 at 3 pm in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers contribute to your favorite charity in Genoa ‘s name.
