George Olin “Lin” Beasley, II, 69 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, May 16, 2019 in a Tulsa hospital with family by his side. He was born May 8, 1950 in Birmingham, Alabama to his parents, George Olin Beasley, Sr. and Susie Christine Darden Beasley.George is survived by one daughter, Jessica Knight and her husband Dustin of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one son, Jacob “Jake” Beasley of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Ryleigh Beasley, Kinley Beasley, Jonathan “JJ” Beason Jr, Jaxxon Beasley, Hadlee Beasley and Callum Knight; one sister, Joy Caudle and her husband Paul of Aledo, Texas; one niece, Elise Gregory and her husband Shane of Benbrook, Texas; special cousin, Richard Zaragoza of Leeds, Alabama; and numerous other cousins, friends, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Sue Beasley and one daughter, Amy Beasley.Lin was a devoted Father and Grandfather aka “Baca”. Baca was the name his Granddaughter Ryleigh gave him when she was a baby. Baca was there for all dance recitals, soccer games, cheer events and school programs.At a young age Lin developed a love for the outdoors, camping, hiking and visiting State and National Parks. Lin followed in his daddy’s footsteps into the trucking industry were he became a truck driver and later a dispatcher. He also loved motorsports and was an avid NASCAR fan. Lin loved life but more than anything he loved his family.A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
