George Douthit's Obituary
George Douthit passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the age of 94. He was born May 30, 1922 to W.H. Douthit and Ruth (Reeder) Douthit in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was an avid artist, an excellent triumph player and enjoyed traveling with his wife before her passing.He was preceded in death by his parents, William “Bill” and Ruth Douthit; wife, Patricia Douthit; two sisters, Juanita Miller and Billie Keesee; brothers, Glen Douthit and Jimmy Douthit.Survivors include his daughter, Melody White and husband, Danny; sister, Berta Bass; brother, Russell Douthit and wife, Brenda; two grandchildren, Mark White and wife, Taryn and Karen Sezate and husband, Steve; three great grandchildren, Asher White, Julianna Sezate and Andrew Sezate and numerous relatives.Private Family Services will be held.Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Navy.
