George Edward Johnson Jr.'s Obituary
George Edward Johnson Jr. was born August 5, 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed away February 14, 2015 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. George was a proud veteran that served in the U.S. Marines for six years. After he was discharged from the Marines he started his career as a Plumber and was also a great carpenter. George loved collecting “stuff” his family might consider his collections to be too much, but he thought of all of his “stuff” as treasures. George was a fun loving and friendly man. He loved visiting with everyone. He especially loved spending time with his family. He had a knack for making each person he was around feel special and loved. George loved teaching his grandkids how to fish, hunt and camp. George was a notorious for being feisty and playful. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. George is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pamela Johnson; daughter Christina Ray West; son George E. Johnson III; daughter Theresa Johnson; son Stephen Johnson and his wife Tami and numerous other family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
