George Alois Green's Obituary
George Alois Green was born September 23, 1923 in Phillipsburg, Missouri the son of George and Beulah Weiherer Green. Mr. Green served in the Army Air Corps during WWII as a bombadier, flying missions to Germany. George married Dixie Lee Drake March 21, 1944 in Bolivar, Missouri. He earned his Masters Degree from the University Of Tulsa. He taught art, was a draftsman and retired as Minister Of Music for the Southern Baptist Association. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Floral Haven Funeral Chapel. Military Honors will be accorded by the District #5 Honor Guard.Survived By: His wife of 65 years; Dixie of the home, 5 children and their spouses; Marilyn (Gary) Ritter of Bixby, Richard Green of Tulsa, Carol Green of Broken Arrow, Cindy (Roger) Ewing of Tulsa and Tammy Johnson of Tulsa. 1 sister; Janice Bright of Manford, 3 grandchildren and their spouses; David (Ronda) Jetton, Melissa (Scott) Bashaw and Joseph Ritter, 2 great grandchildren; Maddie and Park Roper
