George Allen Hill's Obituary
George Allen Hill, age 56, passed away on January 3, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on January 5, 1969, in Altus, Oklahoma, George was the beloved son of Samuel Allen and Indea (Richerson) Hill. His life was defined by simple joys, deep loyalty, and a love for the people and pastimes that brought him peace.
If you knew George, you knew he loved fishing—fishing, fishing, and more fishing. The water was his sanctuary, and he never missed a chance to cast a line. He also cherished spending time outdoors camping, playing sports with his children, and enjoying friendly competition around a pool table. George had a knack for teaching others how to play pool, always patient, always encouraging.
Cards and games were another of his favorite ways to connect with others. Whether it was rummy, spades, go fish, dominos, or dice, George brought laughter, strategy, and camaraderie to every table he sat at.
A carpenter by trade, George took pride in working with his hands. His craftsmanship reflected his character—steady, reliable, and built to last.
George is survived by his children: son Steven Ridley; daughters Renee Moore and Crystle Moore; and son Samuel Moore. He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Kallan, Samuel Jr., Kai, Kalani, Jonathan, Kru, Jrelynn, and Brianna. He is also survived by his siblings Derick Frye, Mary Hill, and Faye Hill, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends who will miss his humor, generosity, and unwavering presence.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Moore, who passed on June 2, 2020. Their reunion brings comfort to those who loved them both.
There will be private family services.
George’s life was full of stories, laughter, and love. His memory will continue to ripple through the lives of all who knew him.
