George Leslie Hulsey's Obituary
George Leslie Hulsey, 77, resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at his home July 7, 2020. George was born August 21, 1942 in Tamaha, Oklahoma to Murle and Viola Hulsey. He attended Roosevelt Middle School and Central High School class of 1960, where he met his wife, LaDeana. George studied Business Management at the University of Tulsa.
George pursued a 43 year career with Safeway and Homeland grocery stores, retiring in 2002. George was a cattle rancher and avid horse enthusiast and established Hulsey Farms in 1973. His hard work and dedication to his family also led him to real estate properties and investments.
George was proud of his Native American Choctaw heritage, as well as being a Veteran of the United States Army.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Viola and Murle Hulsey; sisters, Murlene Daniel and Glenda Embrey; and daughter Andrea Hulsey. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, LaDeana; daughter's, Leslie Rowlands and husband, Tom Rowlands; Jeanine Kinney and husband Sean Kinney; son, Brhett Hulsey and wife Chrissy Hulsey; grandson's Drew Rowlands, Scout Skidgel, Tanner Skidgel, Braylen Hulsey, Simon Kinney and Barron Hulsey; granddaughter's, Alix Lucas, Allie Hutto, and Shea Skidgel and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-6 pm, Monday, July 13, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be private for the family.
