Education was always important to him. He was the first in his family to obtain a college degree. He graduated from Tulsa Community College in 1997 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science - Safety/Loss Control Technology.
When he visited his family in Virginia, he enjoyed going out on his brother-in-law’s boat to fish. He loved cookouts with family members and telling jokes and stories about his life’s adventures.
After moving to Broken Arrow, He helped organize The Veteran’s Day Parade. He was a very good mechanic and could fix about anything. In his spare time, he worked on small engine repairs such as motorcycles and lawnmowers.
He had the ability to make others laugh and feel at ease. He had a quick wit about him and he was never at a loss for words. He will be missed. Military services will be determined at a later date.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, you consider making a contribution to First Tee Colorado Rocky Mountains, the charity his daughter has dedicated the last 18 years to.
